What is Malaya?
The Malaya Fashion Collective is a small online clothing brand that is Woman and Filipinx owned with the intention to promote mindfulness and awareness for ourselves and the outdoors. It is a Fashion Collective because Malaya is a brand created and sustained by our community, the MALAYA Fam, with a goal to incorporate other artists, designers, and creatives into our space.
What does Malaya mean?
Malaya (muh-lie-yah) is the Tagalog word for freedom, but to us it also means creating a life that is fulfilling and free. Malaya is about aligning with your unrestricted, free self, and through our clothes and our products we hope to bring awareness to your authentic self and to the outdoors where we believe you can truly find your Malaya.
How do you get your products?
Malaya is a small batch and made to order clothing brand. Our boutique clothing is bought locally in the USA with small business designers that only produce in small batches. Designs from our Core Collection are originally created and made to order. A portion of profits from each purchase directly supports the local Nevada Wildlife and Wild Lands.
