Refund policy

Return Shipping Fee
At this time, returns will be subject to a $5-$20 shipping fee depending on the order size and weight. This fee will be subtracted from the total refund once the return is accepted.

Returns
Customers have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be in the original condition that you received it
  • Must be unworn or unused
  • Tags, if applicable, must be attached
  • Must be in its original packaging
  • Must include receipt or proof of purchase

 Any garments that appear to have been worn, washed, or altered in any way will not qualify for a refund.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

How long do I have to make a return?
You have a maximum of 14 days from the date you receive all your purchased items in the same order to submit the return request. Your return package must be mailed out within 7 days from the date you submit your return request.

How to start a return?
If you have an account with us, then you can start the return process through your customer account.

If you do not have a customer account with us, you can contact us at info@malayafashioncollective.com with the subject line "Return Request - (Order Number)". From here you can detail the reasons for your return and any additional information.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately and within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene: intimates and/or swimwear. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Exchanges
Unfortunately, we do not have an exchange program at this time. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 2-10 business days (i.e. this is the average time the banks advise). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Packages may see delay due to the overwhelming requests our delivery partners are experiencing.
Please be patient and know that we will do everything in our power to ensure your goods make it to you safely.
